Effective Planning for 2020-2021

  • Purpose and Function of the Academic Excellence Committee

The main purpose of the AEC is to measure the academic results of

CHCS against the goals established in the Fulton County Charter,

accountability plan and annual Principal goals. From these measures,

the AEC establishes guidance and expectations and the Instructional

Leadership Team develops procedures and documents progress. It is

important to note that much work is being done throughout the week. The

weekly meeting is an opportunity for feedback and preparation for the

monthly board meeting.

Discussion of features of the planning worksheet- a continue

improvement model known as the Deming Wheel. It is used in GADOE

and Fulton County Schools to guide continuous improvement

What needs to be prepared for June 9?

We need to continue to develop guidance due by the July governing board meeting as identified by the actions in the planning worksheet. We will review the Operational actions June 9th and identify any actions that need to go before the board during the month of June.
