Committee Reports
Academic Excellence Committee
- Stephanie- Reviewed the academic data for SY22
- Each month the committee with review a different content area, data, tri-focus and TKES focus and policy reviews.
- Cognia review will January
Finance Committee
- Mr. Patterson- adjusted funding for from Fulton County Schools. Potential error with middle school funding, awaiting a response from Fulton County.
- Completing the annual financial audit
- Sept. 26th call with auditor team
- Will receive Title 1 funding next year
- Passed on the round 3 tech grant funding
Governance Committee
- Reviewed the expectations for the board members
- Decided on next steps for background checks
- Each committee meeting will review the outlined policies
- Mr. Patterson- committee leads and school leadership teams will review and discuss at the committee meetings. Make recommendations for edits. Once finalized, Ops will upload to the website
- Principal evaluation: Board members will complete LEKES training
- Complete your conflict of interest forms.
People and culture-
- Started a discussion around a long term compensation model to be competitive with Fulton and other Incentive compensation model.
- Next steps, Mr. Patterson
Development-
- Athletics- expressed the needs for additional funds
- Capital Campaign- the brick campaign- families will be able to leave a message and leave a mark on the campus.
- The foundation is having an audit complete now.
