Meeting Summary

The Governing Board met on Sunday March 17th, 2019 @3:00 PM for what was scheduled to be a 0 hours and 45 minutes long meeting. The members considered the following items:

The committee considered 9 motions, of which 8 passed, and 0 failed:

1. Move that the GCSA be chosen to do a consulting assessment, per their proposal of March 10, and subject to approval of their proposal by the Board via return email. Further, that the Governance Committee manage the consulting process. (passed)
2. Accept the plan and send response to County contingent upon Finance committee acceptance of the Budget template from Chaz. (passed)
3. Accept Blanche Bello's resignation without filling her seat to keep the number of board members odd for voting purposes (passed)
4. To offer standard letter beginning July 1st with a 8 weeks notice and obligation to mitigate. (passed)
5. To offer standard letter beginning July 1st with a 6 weeks notice and obligation to mitigate. (tabled)
6. Vote motion from longest severance to lowest (passed)
7. Move amount of notice required from 3 weeks to 8 weeks and a penalty of $8000. (passed)
8. For Governance committee to implement the new changes ASAP. (passed)

9. To exit Executive Session at 6:15pm (passed)
