April Ledom

April Ledom serves as the director of talent management for Coxe Curry & Associates. In this role, April manages all related human resource functions for the firm, including recruiting, interviewing, hiring, training, employee relations, performance management, and professional development. April previously worked with the Federal Home Loan Bank of Atlanta. For more than a decade she served in a number of human resource positions at the bank. As assistant vice president, employment manager, she provided strategic direction and managed the day-to-day operations of recruitment, selection, and workforce planning. She also oversaw the bank’s charitable giving program.

April is certified as a Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) and as a Society for Human Resources Management – Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP). She is a LEAD Atlanta graduate and an active alumna. In the community, April currently serves as a board member for Chattahoochee Hills Charter School and a member of the HR committee for the Serenbe Institute for Art, Culture, and the Environment. She has also served as a member of the executive committee and board of the Anti-Prejudice Consortium, a mentor for Year Up, and volunteer for the Atlanta Community Food Bank, Atlanta Community ToolBank, Atlanta Habitat for Humanity, Atlanta Urban Ministries, and Visiting Nurse Health Systems of Atlanta.

April graduated with a B.S. in Management from the Georgia Institute of Technology. She and her husband, Matthew, co-founder and senior vice president of research and development for Eletype, Inc., live in Chattahoochee Hills, Georgia, and have two young children, Madalyne and Frederick. Madalyne is a current 4th grader at CHCS.
