Review of People and Culture Priorities + timeline 10 minutes

To support our 3 strategic plan outcomes under people and culture: 

  • By 2021 Achieve a 4 star or higher climate rating
  • By 2021 Maintain staff satisfaction and staff retention of high quality staff members at 90% 
  • By 2021 Retain 90% of our families each year


The people and culture committee will be charged with implementing the Chatt Way for 3 key stakeholder groups: students, families, and staff members. For staff this spring we will focus on 5 key priorities: recruitment, selection, development, compensation, and retention. 



Review Follow Up Actions from last meeting 15 minutes

  • Who will we be asking to return, who won’t be asked (along w/reason), and list of open job positions and descriptions
  • Also- any updates on JDs that have been created?  '
  • finalize language in offer contract for attorney

Discuss Rubric for Staff Selection + Plan for March 7th Hiring Day 30 minutes

  • Create a rubric with selection criteria aligned to FCS, and our Chatt Way
  • For compensation- review FCS payscale and other charters
  • incorporate SPED director into hiring process
  • Review WHO Hiring Method documents
