January Financial Statement

  • About 45% remaining budget.
  • There are 67 days of Cash on Hand with an additional 89 days Cash on Hand in the Ameriprise account.
  • IDEA will show up in the February financials.
  • We are working on shoring up items with less than 45%.
  • The Early College line item needs to be re-worked.

-Mrs. Kate Tucker Ostergaard brought up how CCSD will pay us for the track installation, which was their responsibility. They already have a plan in place to 'trade' for an equivalent amount in repair/construction projects.

-Dr. Meeuwse brought up the possibility of the US Department of Education folding. JICHS receives about $350k in Federal funds, which could potentially be lost. We will need a plan going forward and begin speaking to State Legislatures about increasing funding to make up for the loss.
