Executive Director of the James Island Presbyterian Foundation, a non-profit that manages the JIP Child Care Center, Pre-School, After School Program, Summer Day Camp. Also operates the Lowcountry Pastoral Counseling Center with offices in James Island, Goose Creek, Mt Pleasant, Charleston & North Charleston. Manages the Seeds of Hope Farmer's Market. Finally, operates the Mission House on James Island that provides housing for university, college and faith-based organizations coming to Charleston to provide volunteer services. Married to Dr. Kristi Meeuwse, a teacher within the Charleston County School District currently serving as School Improvement Grant manager for Burns and North Charleston elementary schools. Three adult sons & one daughter (3 children attended James Island public schools) and three grandchildren. I also serve on the boards of the Charleston Area Senior Center, the Ansonborough Housing Corporation and South Carolina Presbyterian Lay School of Theology. Member of the James Island Presbyterian Church. Originally from Michigan, I have been a resident of James Island since 1987.
